To evaluate the end-to-end metals trading, supply chain, and risk management capabilities, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for transformation.
Business growth targets and objectives were used to assess the current landscape and make recommendations on how technology can be used to meet efficiency gains, cost savings and growth targets. The work also including making an assessment of the IT landscape to verify systems were fit for purpose within a simplified technology environment. The output of the work focused on efficiency savings that could be made, programme initiatives that need to be mobilised to support business objectives, cost saving approaches, Target Operating Model and identification of future organisation structure. The work also concluded with opportunities that could be exploited (i.e. trading of new instruments)
